How will I know my content is working?
There are many ways to measure the success of your content marketing projects. You can monitor performance using analytics tools like Google Search Console, Hootsuite, and Facebook Insights, among others.
To make life easier for my valued clients, however, I offer monthly performance monitoring and reporting as part of my Full-Service Packages. Each client receives a detailed report highlighting all major metrics and a brief summary explaining the data and any recommendations to maximize results in the future.
I can also provide one-time performance reports to clients who aren’t committed to a Full-Service Package, if they are requested. These reports can be compiled to gain insight into a single service, like email marketing campaigns, or can be more general for businesses who want a clear eagle-eye view of their current content marketing efforts.
Please note there is an additional fee for one-time performance monitoring and reporting services.
Do you offer social media advertising or campaign management?
I only create content for social media (ad copy and graphics) at this time. I do not set up social media ad campaigns, manage advertising budgets, or monitor campaign performance.
Essentially, I am happy to provide you with compelling, well-written and visually appealing advertisements, but you will need to set up the campaign and manage it.
If you require assistance with this component of your content marketing strategy, I do have connections with experienced paid ad specialists and would be happy to refer you.
How do you conduct keyword research?
Great question! I use a combination of tools to identify terms and phrases with an ideal density for SEO performance. When you hire me as your Edmonton copywriter I use these tools to conduct keyword research and select the terms that are most relevant, but that also offer the best opportunity for improved rankings.
Can I provide you with my own keyword list?
You can, but there are a couple of stipulations. First, your keyword list must be provided prior to work commencing on your website copy or blog writing project. Second, I may review the keywords to determine their ranking difficulty, search volume trends, etc to determine if they are the best terms and phrases for your marketing goals and budget.
Do you offer graphic design services?
As a digital content creator, I can design basic visual elements for use on the web, including social media graphics, website header images, profile banners for Facebook and Linkedin, etc.
I am not, however, capable of handling larger design projects like brochures, publications, or websites, and I do not design logos.
Can you build or design my website?
No, I am not a web designer or developer. I can not create a website for you, nor can I change the format or visual appearance of an existing website.
With this being said, if you would like me to add your blog or web page content to your website, I may be able to assist you— depending on which platform your website has been created on.
Can I cancel my services at any time?
All services can be cancelled within the terms of our signed agreement. These terms are always discussed and agreed upon prior to work commencing.
Can I pay per word instead?
Sorry! I do not bill per word.
Can you bill me by the hour?
Unfortunately, this is also a “no”. I do charge by the hour for smaller editing projects, but pricing is firm regarding all other services.
How do you accept payment?
Payments can be made online via Paypal or SquareUp (debit and credit).
How long will it take to receive my copy?
Timelines vary based on project type. If you choose to hire me as your Edmonton copywriter, I will provide a personalized proposal that details the estimated timeline for your selected services.
In what format will I receive my copy?
All content is provided via Google documents. In rare instances, another platform can be used, but it must be one that accommodates real-time document editing (Microsoft 365, Notion, Dropbox Paper, etc).
I don’t live in Alberta. Can I still hire you as my marketing copywriter?
Absolutely! I serve clients from around the world.
